Description
About half of this walk is in woodland. There are moderate hills. The walk is rated as 7 but it is the upper end of 7 for the hills. Some open countryside with good views, especially near the end from Chinnor Hill. If the Cafe on the Green in Stokenchurch has reopened under new management, we may stop there before the half-way point, but if not we'll stop near the end of the walk at the Village Centre cafe in Chinnor.
We will see the unusual church clock in Stokenchurch which has been used as an emblem for this Wind the Clock walks series.
Prepare
There could be wet and muddy areas so good boots are recommended and walking poles if you use them.
Dress according to the weather.
Dogs
Well behaved dogs are welcome and will need to be on a lead in some locations.
We may encounter livestock and mounted horses.
