Description
Early on in the walk we hope to see some early orchids before rising very steeply along a quiet route up to Chinnor Hill. After pausing to enjoy the view we take the Ridgeway and Chiltern Way to Lodge Hill. Princes Risborough Golf Course and a couple of level crossings with some steps. Saunderton Church, Frogmore Farm and Bledlow. Lower Wainhill and over Keens Crossing to the Village Centre cafe in Chinnor for our refreshment before the half-mile return to the carpark.
Prepare
Walking poles are recommended if you use them and good walking boots if it has been wet. Grippy footwear is essential.
Dress according to the weather. Please bring water to drink. Small rucksack is useful to carry extra or removed clothing.
Dogs
Well behaved dogs are welcome and will need to be on a lead in some locations. Please bring water for them. Please use your discretion as to bringing them if it is forecast to be very hot as there will be stretches without shade.
We may encounter livestock and mounted horses.

Guide: 1-2=easy; 3-4=leisurely; 5-6=moderate; 7-8=brisk/hilly moderate; 9-10=strenuous.
(1=leisurely, wheelchair friendly, 10=such steep or slippery inclines it is only just possible to get traction and the walk will be very strenuous. Most walks will be in the 5-8 range.)
