Description
Mostly footpaths in mixed types of woodland and open fields with great views.
We will commence at a steady pace, increasing to brisk as we climb up to Bradenham Beeches.
Level through the mature beechwood, holly and bracken of Naphill Common and on to the clearer Downley Common.
Down along woodland and rolling fields with good views ahead.
Under the railway and over the A4010 along paths to the Hell Fire Caves at West Wycombe.
We could pause at this point to make a purchase from the small cafe if anyone requires the toilet, but really our intention is to wait till we return to Bradenham for a more substantial selection of choices so we'll keep any stop as brief as possible.
Past the Dashwood Mausoleum and St. Lawrence's church to Nobels Farm where we turn for a steep descent, under the railway and cross the A4010 next to the Red Lion Cafe at about 12pm where we have the option to return to our cars or stop for refreshment at the Red Lion Cafe where a good selection of hot and cold drinks and food is available for purchase.
Prepare
Dress appropriately for the weather, there could be mud so if it has been wet recently, walking boots will be essential, not trainers.

Dress according to the weather, layers recommended and small rucksack for carrying.
Dogs
Well behaved dogs are welcome and will need to be on a lead in some locations.
We will pass through fields which have potential for sheep, lambs, cows or horses.
