Description
Mostly footpaths. Short stretch of fairly quiet road walking in Hale Lane.
From the carpark next to the pavilion we head for the church and on, along the Ridgeway Path past Boswells. Through Barn Wood and Hale Wood to The Hale. Ridgeway Path to Northhill Wood and the Dancersend Nature Reserve. Turn back at Spencers Green, through Bittams Wood stopping for refreshment at Wendover Woods Visitor Centre. Gentle walk to Boddington Hill and back to Wendover via Hale Lane, returning to the car park.
Prepare
Dress appropriately for the weather, there are chalky slopes and there could be mud if it has been wet so good, grippy footwear. Walking poles recommended for those who use them. Water to drink.
Dress according to the weather, layers recommended and small rucksack for carrying.
Dogs
Well behaved dogs are welcome and will need to be on a lead in some locations. Please bring water for your dog. Walkers with dogs need to be fit enough to catch up after any attending to their dog along the way.
We will pass through fields which have potential for sheep, cows or horses.

Guide: 1-2=easy; 3-4=leisurely; 5-6=moderate; 7-8=brisk/hilly moderate; 9-10=strenuous.
(1=leisurely, wheelchair friendly, 10=such steep or slippery inclines it is only just possible to get traction and the walk will be very strenuous. Most walks will be in the 5-8 grades.)
