Description
From Link Road this walk starts through the park to Church Street, past the parish church and Chalkdell Wood Nature Reserve. At Hyde Farm it ascends Hyde More to Mantle's Wood, down past Mantle's Farm, crossing the railway and A413 before crossing the River Misbourne (where dogs can easily refresh) and passing through Little Missenden. It follows Chalk Lane and a good path to Hyde Heath Common and back to Hyde Farm from where it retraces back to St. John the Baptist Church at Great Missenden. From there it drops down into Missenden Abbey Park, crossing the River Misbourne. The walk finishes off along the High Street to Miranda's cafe where we will finish for refreshment which is a stone’s throw from the start of the walk. Thanks to Bob for introducing this walk to CHW
