Description
This walk leaves Great Missenden through Chalkdell Wood Nature Reserve. At Hyde Farm it ascends Hyde More to Mantle's Wood, down past Mantle's Farm, crossing the railway and A413 before passing through Little Missenden. Cross the A413 again and the railway at Keepers Wood and up to Hyde Heath. Along Hyde Heath Common and back to Hyde Farm from where it retraces back to the start. For refreshment after the walk there are the options of Miranda's cafe or the Cross Keys, both in Great Missenden high street.
Prepare
Dress appropriately for the weather, if it's forecast to be hot you will need plenty of water to drink. Walking poles recommended for those who use them.
Dogs
Well behaved dogs are welcome and may need to be on a lead in some locations.
Please bring water and use your judgement regarding the temperatures.
