Description
A few steep ascents and descents but also plenty of leveller walking so not quite a grade 8.
From the Ridgeway path we turn up to ascend Chinnor Hill.
Through woodlands to Spriggs Alley.
Crowell Hill and descend steeply to cross the Ridgeway path at the East side of the old quarry lakes with good views over them.
A pleasant route through new development in Chinnor. We pass Chinnor Windmill.
We stop for refreshment at the Biker Bean Coffee House.
Return via Church Lane and the playing fields.
Prepare
Dress appropriately for the weather, if it's forecast to be hot you will need plenty of water to drink. Walking poles recommended for those who use them.
Dogs
Well behaved dogs are welcome and may need to be on a lead in some locations.
Please bring water and use your judgement regarding the temperatures.
